Back to school health fairs a wonderful success
99 children receive well-child checks, sports physicals

PCHS' 3rd annual Back to School Health Fair helped prepare area students for the return of the school year by providing one-stop shopping for well-child checkups, immunizations and sports physicals. The fair - held Fri., August 8 and Sat., August 9 - gave 99 current PCHS patients the opportunity to meet the health requirements set forth by area schools.

PCHS staff gave away pencil packets, whuffle ball bats, table tennis paddles, balloons and other various prizes for all patients who attended. Members of our Port Orchard staff had kids sign their t-shirts as part of the festivities.

Pencil pouches to be given away at clinics
Child giveaway as part of National Health Center Week

August is Health Center Month. To celebrate this year, each child patient who has an appointment at any of PCHS' clinics during the month will receive a back to school pencil pouch. Packets will be available from August 4 through August 29. You do not need to make any special arrangements to receive the packet, and the giveaway is free for all children. Simply ask for your child's pencil pouch at his/her next appointment and a member of our staff will be able to help you. Please call 360.478.2366 if you have any questions.

Extended Hours clinic update
New schedule and hours announced
 

Effective immediately, PCHS' Extended Hours clinic - an after-hours/walk-in clinic available to established PCHS patients - will be open Monday through Friday from 5-9 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. The clinic had previously been open Sundays on a limited basis, but will not be for the immediate future. The new hours will not effect the quality of care patients have come to expect from PCHS. The Extended Hours clinic is also open from 9 am to 3 pm on most holidays.
